As we continue our journey through the scriptures let’s see what Gratitude Gold Nuggets we can find that began with the letter “L” as to who our awesome God is. Isn’t it a blessing and a delight to know that all of who He is, is all of who we need? He is the Light that prevents us from abiding in darkness. He is LORD of the whole earth and everything and everyone is subjected to Him; and He is Love, and it was His love that was shed on Calvary for the whole world. Let us thank Him as the scripture bares record:

“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1John 1:5, ESV).

“The LORD is God, and he has made his light to shine upoon us. Bind the festal sacrifice with cords, up to the horns of the altar!’ (Psalm 118:27, ESV).

“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8, ESV).
