As we approach the finish line, I shout Hallelujah, what a blessed day to thank God for who He is beginning with the next letter or the alphabet, letter “Y”. I’m excited to find Gratitude Gold Nuggets in God’s Word to thank Him for being our Yoke Releaser. For those of you who may not know what a yoke is, first of all a yoke is designed to carry burdens. Literally It is a wooden crosspiece that is fastened over the necks of two animal and attached to the plow or cart that they are to pull. By carrying this load together, it makes the load bearable, easier. However, though there are two animals pulling this load, it still can be quite heavy. With that said, God is our Yoke Releaser through Jesus Christ the Lord. It is He who carries our burdens and makes our burdens lighter, if only we give them to Him.

Referring to my book, Something to Thank About from A to Z, (xulonpress.com), it is written: “Have you been in a situation where you felt you could never rise; that this really was it? Where the pressures of life became so burdensome you felt suppressed and tied down? If you are like many of us, you may have. The good news, you don’t have to stay that way. We have help. There is someone who is able to remove the yoke off our shoulder. That someone is God through Jesus Christ our Lord. He is able to release us of any burden we may be trying to pull or carry. I implore you to give Him that burden. Then and only then can we take His yoke upon us and find rest for our souls. Let us thank God through Christ, our release has come!

“And now I will break his yoke from off you and will burst your bonds apart” (Nahum 1:13, ESV).

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for i am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:29-30, ESV).)

“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and so not submit again t a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5;1, ESV).

Please pray with me: Dear Lord, I will keep on thanking You for who You are. You are my Yoke Releaser, and thank You for carrying my heavy load, in Jesus name, amen.
