I still thank you, Lord, for your love, though at times, I don’t feel so loving.
I still thank you, Lord, for your grace, though at times, I don’t feel so gracious.
I still thank you, Lord, for your joy, though at times, I may feel sad.
I still thank you, Lord, for your peace, though at times, I may feel uncertain.
I still thank you, Lord, for your strength, though at times, I feel weak.
I still thank you, Lord, for being a stronghold, though at times, I feel I can barely hold on.
I still thank you, Lord, for the victory, though at times, I lose some battles.
I still thank you, Lord, that I know and declare, in You, I have Your unfailing love, grace in time of need, unspeakable joy, peace that surpasses all understanding, strength when I’m weak, a stronghold for my soul; and victory in spite of from Your power above, though at times.
“The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9).
“I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips” (Psalm 34:1).
