Beginning this month of March, I’m inviting you to join me every Monday morning in thanking God for who He is, from A to Z.
When I think about who God is and what we have in Him, I cant help but rejoice! I love thanking Him for who He is; for there is none like Him. No one can be compared to Him. No one can do what He does; no one, no not one. He is the one and only true and Living God, who is and who was and who is to come.
When I think about God as the Alpha and Omega, I’m assured He has everything covered from the beginning to the end; I have no need to worry. When I look to Him as the Almighty, I know He’s strong enough to handle all my needs. When I recognize Him as the All-Sufficient God, I have confidence that He is able to do anything. It is then that my problems don’t seem so insurmountable. It is then I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is then I can get up when I’d rather lie down. It is then I can continue to hold on when I feel like letting go. And it is then I can press on instead of giving up. For God is God who will always provide the necessary grace at the needed time.
I will keep on thanking God for knowing who He is, and that I can get through anything when I hold to Him.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8 ESV).
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work’ ( 2 Corinthians 9:8).
