So far we have found some great Gratitude Gold Nuggets as to who God is, based in His Word from A to F. Now as we look further, continuing with letter G, the first two nuggets that comes to my mind is, God is great and God is good. I’m not surprised that these two nuggets popped in my mind, because as a child my parents taught me (as many other parents taught their children) to say a simple prayer before meals. It went like this: “God is great and God is good, let us thank Him for our food, amen.” So from a child I was told, and now I have learned that the God my parents were speaking of is indeed great and good; and oh so worthy to be praised!

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable” (Psalm 145:3 ESV).

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (Psalm 34:8 ESV).
