Thankful, God is the Sanctifier, Savior, and He is the Shepherd.

Yesterday after celebrating America’s 245th birthday, I am again so thankful to celebrate and thank our God everyday for who He is according to His Word. These scriptural Gratitude Gold Nuggets (as I call them) are not lengthy, hopefully making it easier for you to remember who God is. As we approach letter “S”, we are definitely thankful that God is our Sanctifier, Savior, and Shepherd. Being our Sanctifier, God lets us know He has sat us apart to a sacred purpose those who have accepted Him as Savior. He also has saved us from our sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Lord. Not only that, He also shepherds us whom He has sanctified and saved. We can be mighty grateful that God in all His wisdom knew His saved and sanctified children could not make it on their own; they would need a Shepherd to guide, watch over, and care for them in this dark and evil world.

“Keep my statues and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you” (Leviticus 20:8,ESV).

“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:22,ESV).

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” Psalm 23:1.ESV).

Please pray with me: Dear Lord, I will keep on thanking You for who You are. Thank You for being my Sanctifier, Savior, and Shepherd, in Jesus name, amen. By Hertistine Washington / Keeponthanking.com.

May the blessings of the Lord be with you today.
