Father God, although I’m poor and needy, l’m so grateful You take thought of me.

Though I lie on my bed to give rest to my body and head, You take thought of me.

When I rise in the morning, yet find myself longing, You still take thought of me.

When I leave for the day, as I go on my way, it is You who takes thought of me.

For this Dear Lord, I’m thankful that You are my help and my deliverer.

“As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!” (Proverbs 40:17, ESV).
