He also sees beyond what the physical eye can see, on into the spiritual realm of life. He knows what is happening on the outside and on the inside. His Word lets us know He sees to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and to the discerning of thoughts and intention of the heart. Also that nothing and no one is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to Him. Oh what a mighty God we serve!

“If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you” (Psalm 139:11-12, ESV).

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account” ( Hebrews 4:12-13, ESV).

Please pray with me: Dear Lord, I will keep on thanking You for who You are! You are the X-ray of Life, the one who sees all, through and through; that nothing is hidden from your sight, in Jesus name, amen.

May the blessings of the Lord be with you today.

Thankful, God is the Sanctifier, Savior, and He is the Shepherd.

Yesterday after celebrating America’s 245th birthday, I am again so thankful to celebrate and thank our God everyday for who He is according to His Word. These scriptural Gratitude Gold Nuggets (as I call them) are not lengthy, hopefully making it easier for you to remember who God is. He also has saved us from our sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Lord. Not only that, He also shepherds us whom He has sanctified and saved. We can be mighty grateful that God in all His wisdom knew His saved and sanctified children could not make it on their own; they would need a Shepherd to guide, watch over, and care for them in this dark and evil world.

“Keep my statues and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you” (Leviticus 20:8,ESV).

“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:22,ESV).

Thankful, God is our Refuge, Revealer, and Rewarder.

On this last Monday in the month of June, let us continue our search through scripture for Gratitude Gold Nuggets as to who God is. Can you believe we have now arrived at the 18th letter of the alphabets? It is the letter “R”. Beginning with this letter, I find there are many attributes of God we can be grateful for, such as He being the Redeemer, Reconciler, Resurrection, and Restorer; even to that of being a Resting Place for the restless. In addition to those, I chose to share briefly that God is also our Refuge, Revealer, and Rewarder. The scripture bares record that we should trust Him at all times, and we can pour out our hearts to Him for He is a refuge for us. It also testifies that God is the revealer of deep and hidden things. He sees what we can’t see. He knows what is in darkness, and the light abides in Him. Just as important, whoever comes to God must believe that He exists, and He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. I hope you will join me in the following scriptural nuggets of praise and gratitude for our God.

“Trust in the Lord at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” (Psalm 62:8, ESV).

“He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him” (Daniel 2:22, ESV).

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” (Hebrews 11:6. ESV).

Please pray with me: Dear Lord I will keep on thanking You for who You are. Thank you for being my Refuge, Revealer, and Rewarder in Jesus name, amen. By Hertistine Washington / keeponthanking.com

Thankful, God is the Qualifier, and it is He who quickens (gives life), and quiet the soul with His love.

I’m so grateful again to praise God for another opportunity to thank Him for who He is according to His Word. God is the Qualifier. There is also the guarantee that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in us. Besides that, the Lord our God has promised to be in the midst, a mighty one who will save, and rejoice over us with gladness, and quiet us by His love.

“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12, ESV).

“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11, ESV).

“The Lord your God is in the midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing” (Zephaniah 3:17,ESV).
