A certain potato chip once has the slogan: “I betcha can’t eat just one!” Were you curious to know, why that was? Maybe, because that chip was so tasty at first bite, it made you crave for another. Though I don’t crave potato chips, cheesecake is another thing! Just one bite/slice stirs my appetite for more. Just tasting one time won’t soothe my palette. I think about it, smell it, and imagine how it would be to eat slice after slice (gobs and gobs) every day.

But as much as I love cheesecake, there is something far more tasty to me – Jesus. When I tasted Him, I could never get enough; the joy He gives me; His peace that stills me; His Word that heals me. I always want more. I dare you to taste Him today. When you do, I betcha can’t taste just one time!

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” (Psalm 34:8)
