“… for apart from me you can do nothing.” So said Jesus. This is clear. Apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. We are helpless, powerless, and strengthless without Him. The flip side of this would be, “With Him, we “can” do something. I’m thankful that He didn’t leave us without the power to do.

Now what can we do with Christ? We can be productive in bearing fruit in Him. He is the power by which we can do it. He is the source of our help, power, and strength. Let’s use His power and do something that will motivate, encourage, and inspire someone today. Lets be kind to the unkind, give help to the helpless, and be a light to a dark soul. Yes, it’s as simple as that; nothing hard or difficult. With God, we can “do” something.

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
