The Salvation Army

Have you ever visited a Salvation Army store? If you have you may have noticed there were not too many new items available. You may see donated clothing that people have given because they don’t need or treasure anymore; or, simply want to share with someone in need. Instead of throwing those items away or in the trash, they would take them to the Salvation Army, in hopes that someone may find them useful and worthwhile to meet their physical needs.

In light of this, are you aware there is also a salvation army that is here to meet not only the physical needs, but the spiritual needs? This is God’s Salvation Army, and Jesus is the Source, Resource, and Captain. Those who have accepted Him as their Savior are apart of this army. He sends His soldiers into the world to share the good news of Salvation to win souls for Him; all souls that are lost, abandoned, mistreated, abused, and discarded by the world. God’s Salvation Army is here to stay. It covers all shapes, forms, and sizes to meet all needs— the world’s need. Walk into His store today and you’ll be sure to find your item on hand.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘”All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age'” (Matthew 28:18-20)

For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).

I will keep on thanking God for His Salvation. By Hertistine Washington /keeponthanking.com
