Celebrate The Risen Lord

When we think about it, we are blessed and grateful to celebrate so many special days and events in our lives; birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, raises, graduations, child’s first step; any and everything that is meaningful to us. We hang the banner, toot the horns, and shout hurray for that special day, as we should! We wish to recognize with honor and enthusiasm how important those milestones are and want others to know and join in celebrating with us. We use our creativity to go all out… even in a worldwide Pandemic to express to our love ones how proud of them we are for what they have accomplished, even ourselves.

Now for those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, how much more should we celebrate Him! In Him we have far more reason to celebrate. Why? Because it is He who suffered and died, and rose again from the grave that we might have life eternal, granting us Salvation through His name. It is He who is the only One who has conquered death, even the death of the cross. It is He who paved the way that made a way for sinners to come out of darkness into His marvelous light, and it is He who did it all without sin. That’s not all; it is He who gives us hope and is now sitting on the right hand of Power interceding for us. Therefore, today and everyday let us hang high our banner of praise, spread far the royal red carpet of honor and gratitude, and hunk loud the horn of joy and victory in celebrating our Risen Lord! He indeed is worthy! Oh, bless His Holy name!

“Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died, more than that, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us” (Romans 8:34 ESV)).

Bless be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Perter 1:3 ESV).

“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12 ESV).

I will keep on thanking God for Salvation through Christ Jesus. Let us pray: Dear Lord, I thank You for all You have done to provide eternal life for me and the world, in Jesus name, amen. By Hertistine Washington / keeponthanking.com
