To write is an art. It reflects one’s conviction, purpose, and heart.
I don’t profess to be a great writer like Paul; but like Paul, for the love of God and with humility, so I write. As I was reading one of his letters to the Thessalonians, I could appreciate his style, tone, and purpose. He wrote with authority from God Almighty. His tone was one of loving and endearing, yet with conviction and warning. His purpose was clear; to encourage, build up, and alert others of the danger in not walking in the light and truth of Christ. Like Paul, so I write.
I write with the inspiration to motivate others to the love of God, and salvation of Jesus Christ. I write that my tone is one that is soothing and sincere; yet, with urgency that time is drawing near; and with the purpose that all may see and embrace Christ. Like Paul, so I write.
“The salutation of Paul with mine own hand which is the token in every epistle: so I write” ( 2 Thessalonians 3:17 KJV).
I will keep on thanking God for giving me inspiration to write for Him. By Hertistine Washington/keeponthanking.com
