Many things don’t happen by jumping from A to Z. For example, children don’t learn their alphabets all at once. There is a process of learning. Before they learn B, they must learn A; before D, C; before Y then Z. The span of letters that comes between the A and Z is the process it takes to learn the alphabets in order; the right way.
On a higher level, sometimes in life we must go through the process before we can grasp the product. The product in this case would be learning the way to say the alphabet correctly from A to Z. Often we don’t want to go through the process because it can be challenging and could appear too slow for us. For instance, we may have a problem and want God to solve it now. Because He doesn’t solve it then, we may get in a hurry and jump the gun. God doesn’t work like that. He doesn’t work on our time schedule. Many times we must learn to go through the process… of waiting on Him.
Have you considered your problem maybe the process God uses to reveal His purpose and plan for you? If you don’t go through the process, how will you know God’s plan? So why not trust and wait in Him through the process? In it you may gain patience, strength, and confidence to carry on.
“But all things should be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
I will keep on thanking God for helping me to wait in spite of the process it takes. By Hertistine Washington/keeponthanking.com.
Thanks for the encouragements and and reminders of the benefits of patience and endurance.
