Hear ye! Hear Ye! There is a war going on. It is a spiritual war, not between God and the devil, but the devil and you. But don’t be afraid. Take courage. God has provided the armor that is needed in this spiritual warfare. Remember, God didn’t ask you to fight the devil, only to soldier up, be equipped, and be ready when he strikes. The way to do this is to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the tricks of the devil. And when you have done all, to stand.

What is this armor? It is something pretty special and unique; it is designed by God. It is being fastened with the belt of truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, wearing shoes of the gospel of peace, carrying the shield of faith, wearing the helmet of salvation, and being equipped with the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:14-17). There is no excuse. You have the victory. Be assured, you can never be defeated when wearing God’s armor. He will do the fighting in and through you. He has never lost a battle, and never will. So, soldier up, and stand in faith!

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil’ (Ephesians 6:11).
