God is so good, and He also works! That’s one of the things that makes Him so good. Isn’t that great to know that we have a God that works, and that He works on our behalf everyday? Who do you think gives the sunshine in spite of dark clouds? God does. Who do you think prepares food for our nourishment? God does. And who do you think sends the rain to water the crop that grows and bears fruit? Again, it is God. He’s working all the time; never idle and never tired.

He not only works in the natural realm, He also works in the spiritual realm. Remember, God is a Spirit, and He works by His Spirit. It is His Holy Spirit that is working in the hearts of men right now towards Salvation in Jesus. He also works through His Word, revealing to man what is required in order to maintain a relationship with Him. And lastly, God works through His people, sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13).

I will keep on thanking God for His steadfastness; He works round the clock and never stops. He’s dependable, capable, and sufficient at all times to do the work in you and me.  By Hertistine Washington/ keeponthanking.com
